As consumers increasingly search for bargains online, Regent Hotels has noticed a 20% increase in online revenue. In 2014, online bookings accrued $100 million NTD and this increased to $120 million in 2016. Revenue from online purchases of Regent products has also increased from $42 million NT in 2014 to $115 million NT in 2016. Travel and booking platforms have become hugely popular and have evolved into the main option for booking travel stays. Regent Taipei GM Melvin Yang states, “Our official website offers a convenient platform for consumers and offers them a more complete and consistent service and we want our guests utilize this service and resource. Thus, we decided to offer the Best Rate Promise, an additional 600NT hotel credits* and many other exclusive treatments to show our commitment to our guests.”
The upgraded official Regent official website not only offers hotel information, photos and service searching function, but is also connected to Regent social media channels and offers real-time experience sharing. Photos on the newly upgraded website are from the internationally renowned James Beard Award “Best Photography” Winner and photography master Masano Kawana.

Best Rate Promise Terms and Conditions
For a claim to be validated, it must meet the terms and conditions outlined below:
1) You must have a confirmed reservation made on www.regenthotels.com/tw/regent-taipei
2) You must have found a lower publicly available rate for the same accommodation (ex. the same room category, dates, length of stay, number of guests, cancelations policies, currency and relevant terms and conditions as what is published on Regent Taipei official website) within 24 hours of making your reservation.
3) Best rate promise does not apply to rates offered by opaque channels that do not provide the name or location of the hotel until a reservation has been made and rates offered on on-request websites on which reservations require time to validate and confirm.
4) Your claim must be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org within 24 hours of your confirmed Regent Hotels reservations and at least three working days before your scheduled arrival at the hotel. After your claim is verified, we will refund the difference as a credit to your room account during your stay.
