Tourism Ireland’s biannual Sales Mission is on the way to Australia and New Zealand again this November. The sales mission, which takes place 14-21 November, kicks off in Auckland, and will visit Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Tourism Ireland will be welcoming a select group of thirteen delegates who represent a full range of tourism experiences in Ireland to take part in the Sales Mission.
Australia & New Zealand have seen phenomenal growth in the last number of years, with potential for huge growth in the future. Between 2010 and 2014, visitors from Australia to the island of Ireland have increased by more than +40%. 2015 was another record year for visitors from Australia and New Zealand, with approximately 200,000 people visiting.
Grammy nominated artist, former INXS frontman and Derry native Ciaran Gribbin will be on hand to ensure a fun and entertaining evening at each of the workshops. Ciaran has worked alongside world class artists including Madonna, Paul McCartney, Crowded House, U2, Snow Patrol, The Script and Al Pacino.
Sofia Hansson, Tourism Ireland’s Manager Australia and New Zealand, said: “Our sales mission is a key element of our promotional programme in Australia and New Zealand. We will be highlighting a number of key themes at our workshops in each city – including the Wild Atlantic Way, Causeway Coastal Route and Ireland’s Ancient East. The ‘Ireland Rocks’ workshops will provide a unique opportunity for travel consultants to learn more about this captivating destination in a fun, engaging and inspiring way’.
All consultants who attend will have an exciting opportunity to earn a place on a familiarisation trip to Ireland in 2017 with airline partner Emirates at each event.
Don’t miss out on an evening of music, food, fun and prizes.
