The 407-room Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok proved a major resource for China Airlines when the leading Taiwan airline company hosted its recent annual SEA sales conference.
Lead by Mr Arthur Liu, General Manager of China Airlines (Thailand), the two-day conference provided an opportunity for 25 delegates to share ideas and identify opportunities to promote the Taiwan government’s Southward Policy and aims for stronger ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) integration.
The southward policy promotes closer relations with neighboring countries in the Southeast Asian region and India. The AEC creates opportunities for China Airlines to promote, develop and share its services within its 10 ASEAN member nations.
The General Manager of the Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok, Mr Eric Hallin, said the banqueting and meeting facilities at the hotel as well as multi-functional suites, onsite car parking and apartments for longer stays, were critical when planning meetings and special events such as weddings and exhibitions.
“In addition to our central Sukhumvit location, our experienced staff and F&B specialists are able to create unique events for small private groups through to large conferences,” he said.
The reputation of the Rembrandt as one of Bangkok’s leading hotels for guests was strengthened when it recently won top honors in Bangkok’s Top Tables Guide 2016 by BK Magazine. The Rembrandt’s Mexicano and Rang Mahal restaurants were recognized in the prestigious Thai Tatler’s Best Restaurants 2016 list. Also, the Rembrandt was awarded ‘2015 Best of +VIP Access Hotel’ award from Expedia.com; ‘Best Hotel – Far East & Africa 2015’ from Virgin Holidays UK; and an ‘Outstanding Performance 2015’ from global reservation network provider, Ctrip.com. #
