Renowned Chef in Australia to promote “Explore Singapore Heritage and Food Trail”

Far East Hospitality, Singapore’s largest and fastest growing operator for hotels and serviced residences, today announces it is bringing signature Singaporean cuisine Down Under with a culinary tour featuring celebrity Chef William Soh. The tour will take place across three major Australian cities – Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, in celebration of the group’s ‘Explore Singapore Heritage & Food Trail 2014.’

Executive Chef Soh, recognised for his distinguished culinary skills and leadership in the local Singaporean culinary scene, will serve up some of his signature dishes during special media events at Vibe Hotel Rushcutters Sydney, Rendezvous Grand Hotel Melbourne, and Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough until 15 April 2014.

Executive Chef Soh authored the recipe cookbook ‘Taste of Nostalgia.’ With more than three decades’ experience, he has built up a broad range of experiences encompassing fine dining, hotel management, and high volume catering, and now leads the culinary team at Village Hotel Changi.

The tour marks the celebration of Far East Hospitality’s ‘Explore Singapore Heritage & Food Trail 2014,’ which will run from 1 July 2014 through 30 September 2014. The second annual event aims to connect both travellers and locals with the authentic elements of Singapore, allowing them to experience a unique heritage enclave each day and a different Far East Hospitality hotel every night, without ever having to check-in or check-out.
