In January 2020, Latitude 33 will be hosting an exclusive 31-night Rhythms Of South America & Antarctica Journey for an intimate group of 20 guests.

Departing on 26 January from Australia, the unforgettable journey will begin in Iguazu Falls, Brazil where you’ll spend three nights atBelmond Hotel Das Cataratas. The hotel is a gem beside Brazil’s famous Iguazu Falls; a magnificent natural wonder of the world, and visitors will be treated to private tours of both the Argentinian and Brazilian side of the falls.

On 30 January you will fly to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where you will then spend three nights at The Paris of South America. Explore the beautiful city steeped in history with a private tour or at your own pace. Immerse yourself in local culture and learn the famous passionate Argentine tango.

It’s now time to embark onboard the all-inclusive Seabourn Quest from 2 February, for a 21-night journey cruising from Buenos Aires to Santiago. Experience the wonders of Antarctica via this expedition cruise to the southernmost continent on the Earth.

At sea, you’ll have optimal chance to unwind, spoil yourself to a spa treatment, watch the world go by from the Observation Bar and simply relax poolside. As your journey continues, on 16 February the Seabourn Quest will cruise past the southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia, the capital of Argentine Tierra del Fuego – an important naval base boasting a strategic yet picturesque location on the shores of Ushuaia Bay and the Beagle Channel. This rustic coastal town is set amongst waterfalls, glaciers, snow-clad mountains, beach forests and waters bound with marine life.

The next few days will present incredible scenic cruising from Punta Arenas, Chile before entering the Canal Sarmiento Channel, Patagonia, lined with snow-capped peaks, tidewater glaciers and shipwrecks. From there you will enter the Peel Fjord and cruise by waterfalls to the blue-white face of El Brujo glacier.

On 19 February, the Seabourn Quest will thread amongst the islands and waterways of Chile’s wild southern coastline before visiting the island of Castro on 20 February. This town’s canary-yellow Cathedral is a beautiful, vaulted structure crafted of local hardwoods – one of the island’s several UNESCO World Heritage inscribed wooden churches.

On 23 February, you will arrive in Santiago, Chile and bid farewell to the Seabourn Quest, before spending three nights at the boutique hotel Cumbres Lastarria. For the next two days prior to departing on 26 February, you can indulge in robust flavours of Chilean wines on a full day wine tasting tour of the Casablanca Valley or explore the city at your leisure.
