Riders and pillion passengers can experience the thrill of exploring the natural beauty and luxurious wonder of colourful Rajasthan in India this November on the back of a Royal Enfield 500cc Classic Desert Storm motorcycle, with a 20 per cent discount offer on a luxury tour offered by Extreme Bike Tours.

Available until July 31, 2019, Extreme Bike Tours is offering a US$890 discount for pillion passengers off its five-star, 13-day, ‘Luxurious Rajasthan’ tour when booked as a couple (rider and passenger). The tour begins in Delhi on November 9, 2019.

Known as the ‘land of kings’, Rajasthan is India’s largest state and is filled with vast desert expanses, hidden treasures and ancient structures. The 13-day tour takes riders across 1932km of undemanding roads, visiting the jewels of Rajasthan and staying at some of India most authentic and romantic palace hotels. Along the journey, riders can take in the sights and sounds of cities such as Udaipur- a magnificent city filled with palaces, temples and colourful bazaars. Other highlights include ‘The Golden City’ of Jaisalmer, ornate temples, awe-inspiring palaces and ancient forts, including Fort Kumbhalgarh – a grand fort built in the 15th century with walls that stretch 36 kilometres. Riders will be able to open throttle across the vast Thar Desert, with its camel caravans and wandering nomads, with guests able to ride a camel across the dunes. Between stays, guests will venture out on a vehicle safari tour through the Ranthambore National Park to search for elephants, crocodiles and the park’s famous Bengal tiger.

Before returning to end the trip in Delhi, the tour takes riders to India’s most iconic monument– the Taj Mahal. Built over a 20-year period, the enormous mausoleum was commissioned by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the remains of his beloved wife. The building is a symbol of India’s rich cultural history and a perfect way for guests to end the tour.

The guided, 13-day, five-star tour departs from Delhi on November 9, 2019, and is available for licensed riders from US$5600 and US$3560 for pillion passengers, a saving of US$890, when booked as a couple before July 31, 2019. The price includes accommodation, meals, fuel and transfers during the 13-day itinerary. Pillion riders can ride behind their friend or partner on a motorbike or in the luxury support van.
