Bali’s tea connoisseurs have something to celebrate at Rimba Jimbaran Bali by AYANA, as the resort’s new Orchid Tea Lounge pampers gourmands with an exceptional selection of world-class teas.

Housed within a modern glasshouse, appointed with industrial details, recycled sailboat wood tables and an exotic collection of potted orchids, the tea lounge is an architectural masterpiece comprising glass and steel. Located adjacent to the resort’s expansive RIMBA Lawn, an exquisite outdoor private event venue, Orchid is infused with warm natural light and showcases views of the flowering gardens beyond.

In-house and visiting guests are welcome to quench their thirst in an unmatched whimsical style, offering a premier selection of green, black, flavoured, herbal, and oolong teas from Dilmah, a renowned international tea maker for over 60 years. Dilmah specialises in traditional tea, made in the ‘orthodox’ style – a production process that starts with handpicking the leaves and continues through withering, rolling, oxidation and firing, a technique perfected over centuries.

Available daily from 2pm to  5pm, special occasions may be complemented by Orchid’s Traditional Afternoon Tea, offering a contemporary fusion of Balinese and Western delicacies including fruit tartlets, sandwiches, and classic kue. Guests may choose from Orchid’s hot Dilmah tea selection, gourmet coffee specialties, fresh pressed juices and refreshing iced tea flavours including rosella, lychee and lemon ginger.

Orchid is an idyllic indoor venue for private parties such as bridal gatherings, especially after an inspiring afternoon spent at the adjacent Scenography Cooking School. Celebratory libations include seven delightful concoctions from The Lounge Favourites. Green Tea Mojito sets the mood with an innovative mixture of rum, green tea liqueur, green tea syrup, fresh mint leaves, and fresh lime, while Kopi Bali; a heady presentation of arak, crème de cacao white, black coffee, brown sugar, and cream, highlight Bali’s favourite locally produced spirit.
