Winding its way through the Southern Rockies on historic railcars, the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad is pleased to announce its sixth season of the Mountain Rails Live summer concert series.

Operating on the weekends from June through September, guests hop onboard the train in Alamosa, a two and a half hour drive from Colorado Springs, and enjoy breathtaking scenery on the journey to the Fir Mountain concert site.

Upon arrival, passengers experience a one-of-a-kind concert at the first all green high mountain venue, powered entirely by solar energy at 9,400 feet. Ever increasing in popularity, this summer’s new line-up of western folk musicians is sure to wow crowds including a headline performance by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and a first year debut of the Americana Music Festival.
