AFTA is partnering with the Tasmanian Government to launch the major consumer campaign promoting the advantages of booking with an ATAS travel agency. The campaign embraces TV, radio, print and online and will run throughout September and October.
Launching the initiative in Hobart today, the Minister responsible for Consumer Affairs, the Hon Guy Barnett MP said it was important that consumers knew the benefits of using accredited travel agents.
“I congratulate AFTA on their work in developing the ATAS accreditation scheme. Consumers should know that in choosing an ATAS accredited travel agent, they are accessing high quality advice and expertise from travel industry professionals, with links to some of the best suppliers and packages available,” Minister Barnett said.
“The Government is pleased to partner with AFTA in this campaign and looks forward to seeing awareness of the value of the ATAS accreditation scheme grow among the public and within the travel industry.’
