The UK’s leader in luxury river cruising, Riviera Travel River Cruises, visited Australia recently to mark two years of selling its European river cruises to the Australian market – exclusively through travel agents.

While here, Riviera’s sales and marketing executives for Australia, Thomas Morgan and Gina Squirrell (pictured in pix below together second and third from left in front), met with the team from its wholesale partner, Cruise Traveller, to brief them on the cruise line’s new 2020 program including a new five-star ship and two new itineraries.

Mr Morgan and Ms Squirrell also visited key travel agents across Australia during their visit to promote Riviera’s expanded 2020 program

New 2020 cruise program – supplement free fares for solos

In April, 2020, Riviera Travel River Cruises will launch a new 169-guest, five-star river ship – the Geoffrey Chaucer, named after a renowned 14th Century poet. Featuring a pool, gym, two restaurants, onboard bicycles and some of the largest staterooms on Europe’s waterways, the new vessel will bring Riviera’s fleet size to 13 ships in 2020.

Riviera Travel will also offer two brand new itineraries for 2020. The first is a seven-night ‘Seine, Paris and Normandy’ round-trip journey from Paris from $3229 per person in a twin-share stateroom or a selected number of solo cabins reserved exclusively for single travellers supplement-free (subject to availability).

The second new cruise for 2020 is a seven-night ‘Vienna, Bohemia and Treasures of the Danube’ round-trip journey from Vienna from $3199 per person, twin-share, or solo (subject to availability).

Riviera’s cruises include complimentary shoreside tours as well as free Wi-Fi. Onboard drinks packages are available from $199 per person in 2020. Riviera Travel reserves a selection of cabins on every ship and every cruise for solo-only use, free of single supplements. Solo cabins are subject to availability.
