Rock Out With 360q,February 4!

January 17, 2017 Whats On No Comments Email Email
Dust off your T-Bird leather, lace up your blue suede shoes and prepare to set the dancefloor alight as the crew at 360Q restaurant at Queenscliff Harbour step back in time to re-live the era of Elvis with our rock’n’roll extravaganza evening, Saturday February 4.

We’ve been inspired to slick back our hair and shake our hips Elvis-style thanks to the Geelong Hot Rodders’ annual Queenscliff Rod Run, which will be held in Queenscliff from February 3-5.

For just $70pp, guests will enjoy a night of high-octane rock’n’roll fuelled by fantastic food and thumping live music performances.

The groovy three-course menu is a nod to rock’n’roll nostalgia with chicken a la king vol au vents and sausage rolls with chutney canapes, a retro seafood cocktail for entree, delicious steak diane with mash potato and beans for main course and topping it off will be a Knickerbocker Glory – a twist on a neo classic ice cream sundae – for dessert.

Guests will receive a complimentary 1960s-inspired retro cocktail on arrival, and extra drinks will be at bar prices throughout the night.

Live entertainment is a specialty of the crew at 360Q and attendees of our rock’n’roll spectacular won’t disappointed. Guests will be floored by the talents of singer and entertainer Brendan James, whose Las Vegas-style floor show will knock your bobby socks off.

Known for his vocal mastery of the hits from music legends Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, Frank Sinatra, Big Bopper, The Hollies and The Beach Boys to name just a few, Brendan is a highly accomplished and energising performer who really knows how to wow the crowd.

Brendan has performed alongside A-list artists such as Hugh Jackman, John Farnham, Todd McKinney, Vanessa Amorosi, The Deltones, Gerry & the Pacemakers, Leo Sayer, Ross Wilson, Jimmy Barnes and James Reyne, so guests at 360Q are in for a real treat.

The live entertainment on the night will also include a DJ to crank out the greatest rock’n’roll hits of all time, as well as a cameo performance from none other than Elvis courtesy of one of Queenscliff’s local characters. This is one performance you can’t afford to miss!

In keeping with the theme of the night, we’re setting the dress code as ‘rock’n’roll style – whether this means your best Grease-style tight white tee and leather jacket, pencil skirt skirts and twin sets or a rockabilly hairdo, we’d love to see everyone in the spirit of the night.

The Queenscliff Rod Run 2017 which will be based at the Queenscliff Recreation Reserve February 3-5 and include a show’n’shine event and a cruise down the main street.
