Ratchaprasong Square Trade Association (RSTA) is greeting renewed vigour of tourism by drawing together world-class dining lifestyles to delight visitors from around the world. With “Taste it all 2014@Ratchaprasong”, the district is creating a food destination in the heart of Bangkok.

The festival opens up a golden era of savours with chic festival concept of “Imperial Delight”, inviting celebrity chefs from seven luxury hotels within Ratchaprasong to create splendid menu courses from today until 30 November 2014. In addition to echoing Ratchaprasong’s image as the complete lifestyle district, RSTA is confident that the festival will boost Thai and international clientele of restaurants in Ratchaprasong by 20% during the festival period.

Mr. Chai Srivikorn, RSTA President, said: “Ratchaprasong is regarded as the first business and shopping district in Thailand with the capability to meet all lifestyles of visitors, thanks to “Walkable Urbanism” strategy that virtually interconnects visitors’ needs and lifestyles together. With existing stretches of the Skywalk today, buildings, shopping centres, tourism attractions and various food and dining centers are interlinked within an expanse of more than 200 rai from BTS Chidlom Station to Siam Centre and from The St. Regis Bangkok to The Platinum Fashion Mall. As a result, Ratchaprasong shines in every aspect as one of Bangkok’s largest business, shopping and lifestyle districts and a major tourists’ check-in point in Thailand.”

More than 30% of international visitors who entered Thailand at Suvarnabhumi Airport also visited Ratchaprasong, a destination celebrated as The Heart of Bangkok,” he continued. “RSTA and our members have therefore created lively happenings to spur business within the district and impress the visitors with a lifestyle diversity spanning across shopping, dining, services, arts and holy worship. Ratchaprasong currently receives an average of 300,000 visitors per day, approximately divided into 60% Thais and 40% foreigners. Among the foreign visitors, Asian is ranked top at 55%.”

In a most recent move, RSTA has partnered with Kasikornbank’s K-Credit Card to roll out Taste it all 2014 @Ratchaprasong from today until 30 November 2014. The food festival presents course menus within an elegant concept of “Imperial Delight” to portray a golden era of savours. Sourced from around the world, the finest selections of natural ingredients including meat, vegetables, fruits and spices merge with traditional and contemporary culinary arts to create the most discerning tastes that also combine health benefits. Chefs from seven hotels within Ratchaprasong—Centara Grand at CentralWorld, Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok, Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, InterContinental Bangkok, Novotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam, Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel and The St. Regis Bangkok—are invited to create signature courses and bring wonderful dining experiences to visitors. Their special creations range from starters, main course and desserts to special alcoholic beverages to ensure full-course pleasure of the diners.

Mr. Chatchai Payuhanaveechai, Executive Vice President of Kasikornbank Pcl., commented: “We’re pleased to co-create Taste it all 2014 @Ratchaprasong with RSTA. The festival has progressed to its fourth event this year and it fits well with the lifestyles of K-Credit Card customers. The past three events have seen K-Credit Card offering privileges to the cardholders with special focus on dining, travel, shopping and health, and especially with extra KBank Reward Points that made every spending much more rewarding.”

As always, K-Credit Card’s campaign for Taste it all 2014 @Ratchaprasong has been catered to the lifestyles of the cardholders.
