This weekend, Rydges Geelong will partake in a mass charity drive as they donate 230 beds, 800 pillows and 200 duvets to Geelong St Vincent de Paul.http://www.rembrandtbkk.com/

To assist in the installation and removal of the beds, the hotel has also donated $10,000 to the Geelong Cricket Club who are offering 25 volunteers to be on site to help. After arriving at St Vincent de Paul’s new processing center, the beds and linen will be distributed to households in the Geelong area.

The Rydges Geelong General Manager, Jeremy Black, said the hotel is proud to be supporting the tight knit Geelong community.

“Geelong is very much community focused and big on doing business locally. Being a new hotel, we really want to support the local community, clubs and those in need.”

After purchasing the Mercure Geelong earlier this year, Rydges Geelong has invested in new Rydges Dream Beds and linen as part of the hotel’s extensive revitalization. All 138 rooms, suites and apartments will now feature designer Dream Beds, which feature a 100% Natural Talalay Latex layer, ensuring guests experience the perfect night’s sleep.

The hotel’s central location in the heart of Geelong’s CBD makes it an excellent destination for both leisure and business travelers with the hotels’ outdoor swimming pool and spa, gymnasium, free Wi-Fi and off street parking ensuring a relaxing and comfortable stay.
