Rydges Sydney Central Presents… Mythology – An Affectors Exhibition

490074_num1077125_600x600On Friday, 5th of June, Rydges Sydney Central will be opening their doors to unveil an unusual and unique visual arts exhibition. Partnering up with The Affectors; a group of Local, European and UK artists and creatives, Rydges will be bringing its first ever arts event onto the rooftop, The Surry.

Visitors will be invited to journey through the immersive spaces of The Rydges Hotel exploring themes of ancient and contemporary Mythology. The event will be a labyrinth of sensory experiences, interactive art pieces and contemporary takes on stories that have outlasted time. One thing is for sure, you’ll be seeing, hearing and experiencing these narratives like never before.

Tantalizing cocktails and creatively themed canapés from Rydges Head Chef Rick Fowden will be served throughout the evening. This event will be magical, unmythable and will leave you with your head above the clouds.

The line up includes: Sydney’s Mike Watt, Young Earl Grey, s1t2, Jo Ley, Irene Feleo, Bill Hope, Amigo & Amigo, Peter Brew Bevan, Ben Cole, Mark Townsend, James Briscoe, n2 Gelato, Kev ODonnell, Frantz Kantor, Jason Paulos, Bill Norhcott, Tara Phillips, Duncan Handel, Luschia Porter, Simon Greiner New Zealand’s Gina Kiel and Inject Design – the duo who dropped Fat Freddy’s Album ‘Blackbirds’, UK’s Billmund, Lucy Izzard and Crisitina Guitian and Europe’s Borja Gonzalo and Johan Potma and Mexico’s Celeste Byers and Aaron Glasson.
