S.T.A.Y.: For The Golden Flavours Of The Season

International Michelin-starred Chef Yannick Alleno returns to Beijing with a special wine dinner at S.T.A.Y. on November 25.  He brings with him surprising new elements to the menu that will delight loyal followers and entrance new fans.

His iconic French restaurant at Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing has already made its mark in the Forbidden City’s competitive culinary landscape, winning accolades with its creative takes on authentic French flavours.

For S.T.A.Y.’s current autumn offerings, he has added fresh elements and ingredients to new creations while retaining tested favourites among the classics.  There is something to please all palates.思

The wine dinner on 25 November 2014 will feature classic French flavours with seasonal ingredients and are gourmet expeditions that cannot be missed.  Good food and fine vintage make it a celebration.

Attractions start with appetizers.

Salade ‘33’ combines 33 of the freshest greens with the best olive oil and citrus salt.  Crisp romaine is paired with king crab, cherry radishes and tapenade.  The all-time favourite Pan-Seared Duck Foie Gras remains on the menu, as does Burgundy Snails with its light potato cream.

Main courses draw inspiration from both surf and turf with a choice of turbot, sea bass or snapper, and a Blue Lobster Fricassee with tender asparagus and baby mushrooms.

The best wagyu beef selections include a pan-seared filet served with S.T.A.Y.’s signature Foie Gras or a Black Pepper Filet Café de Paris with a creamy potato puree.

No visit to S.T.A.Y is replete without a venture into its famous Pastry Library.  This exquisite showcase of temptations includes fairy-light meringues encased in fluffy marron crème, and apple pastries delicately garnished with jewels of raspberries and jasmine flowers.

In the season of mellow fruitfulness, guests are invited to relax at the best French restaurant in Beijing and soak in an ambiance where art and good taste meet.
