Sabre Online goes Mobile

Sabre-connected travel management companies and their travellers across Australia and New Zealand are now able to access Sabre Online on any HTML5 mobile device.

Sabre Online provides corporate travel authorisers the ability to approve ticketing ahead of deadline in a single click, and instantly message their travel management companies. Now, thanks to a new development just released, Sabre Online has given these authorisers and travellers even more control from the small screen, with the ability to make their own compliant flight, hotel and car rental reservations.

Improved navigation means travellers can book in minutes, and with the Best Air Fare Information screen designed to present the right range of flights within their pre-set policy, travellers receive the right information at the top of their screen. With TripCase, Sabre’s web and mobile app, the whole process is seamless as once booked, travellers can access their trip details from TripCase wherever they are, whenever they need.

Other key features released include easier access to retrieve active and past itineraries. With a new Advanced Search function travellers can now easily locate the details they need: ideal for their regular expense reports.

“We are making even lighter work of the travel management process for those on the move,” said Sabre Pacific Managing Director, Jeremy van de Klundert. “Travellers want a more intuitive and personalised travel service and with Sabre Online we can deliver that on any smart device. This is another step in our mobile strategy which saw us launch the first mobile service app, TripCase in 2009 and bring the Sabre Red Workspace to a mobile device over 18 months ago.”

Launched in 2007, Sabre Online has become the trusted B2B2C resource for managing travel remotely.

Sabre Online integrates with Sabre Agency Manager mid-office system which manages client profiles and automates financial reconciliation and reporting. The mobile solution also feeds into the client performance analytics created by Sabre Pacific’s Travel Intelligence capability.
