Last week, Sabre Pacific, in conjunction with PhoCusWright, held the latest Thought Exchange Web Event (Tuesday, 12 November). The online discussion, themed ‘Travel Innovation and Technology Trends: 2013 and Beyond,’ received great attendance, welcoming agents from Australia and New Zealand.

James Quinlan, General Manager Marketing & Service Delivery at Sabre Pacific, says the event triggered interesting discussions on the future of travel.

“The webinar focused on the trends that the travel industry has experienced over the last twelve months. We discussed the trend of mobility and multiple device accessibility, cloud computing and the evolution of big data, and much more,” says Quinlan.

This is the second Thought Exchange Web Event hosted by Sabre Pacific this year. Following the success of these, further dates will be announced on forthcoming topics.

“These discussions are proving popular with agents who want to stay ahead of their competitors. Understanding the trends that are shaping our industry can be a complex process but, as part of our commitment to the industry, we have released our key findings in our latest whitepaper. It looks at the most significant trends to have affected the travel industry in the last 12 months, as well as glimpsing what can be expected in the future,” adds Quinlan.
