The colonial-inspired property is perched on the sandy shores of the Indonesian island, within easy reach of Singapore; just 50 minutes away, the property is ideally placed to escape the city for a luxuriously leisurely end to the weekend.

The exclusive event takes place on the third Sunday of each month, opening up access to The Sanchaya’s world-class facilities, which are ordinarily reserved for residing guests only. For dessert, a range of fine cheeses, fresh strawberries dipped in melted Belgian chocolate, and a photo worthy Macaroon Tower will be arranged in The Bar, inviting guests once again to move around the space. The Sanchaya Sundays menu includes dishes signature to the Indonesian archipelago, whilst Chef Giacomo Turzo draws on his Italian heritage to offer decadent options sure to tantalise palettes. The offerings are designed to encourage social dining, with small dishes enabling guests to sample a variety of the fine dining offerings at the estate.

After lunch, guests will be invited to spend the afternoon enjoying the extensive facilities at The Sanchaya, which include a 50-metre long infinity pool, seaside cabanas, and a manicured lawn. Special touches include the provision of pool and beachside baskets, complete with sunscreen, water and snacks for guests to enjoy as they soak up the sunshine, and a selection of beanbags in The Sanchaya’s signature monochrome print which will be scattered outside The Bar, encouraging lazy afternoons at the estate.
