Santiburi Beach Resort & Spa, the luxury resort catering to couples and families on Koh Samui’s stunning north shore, is giving guests a strong incentive to stay active during their holiday by offering complimentary activities at its onsite Sports Centre.

With health and fitness becoming a global lifestyle phenomenon, Santiburi Beach Resort & Spa is perfectly positioned to cater for those who want to stay in shape, develop their sporting skills, or just enjoy a fun and relaxing activity with their partner or family.

As part of the new “Get Up & Go” Beach Campus programme, all guests are being offered complimentary activities at the resort’s Sports Centre, which features an extensive range of options to get the heart pumping, muscles working and keep the mind active.

With an array of first class facilities on offer, guests can keep fit with a personal trainer in the gym, stretch their muscles at a yoga class, perfect their forehand on the floodlit tennis court, or discover the art of “Muay Thai” boxing. Alternatively, they can enjoy a game of football, badminton, table tennis or snooker – even practice their golf swing.

Guests with a sense of adventure can also head out and explore the tropical surroundings on foot or by bike along outdoor trails that weave through the resort, or in the network of lanes that criss-cross the hinterland behind Santiburi Beach Resort and Spa.

All activities are offered free-of-charge, with the additional option of lessons or professionally-led classes to help guests of all abilities make the most of their stay.

Cedric Bonvin, General Manager of the Santiburi Beach Resort and Spa, believes the sports centre meets rising guest demand for sporting activities, as guests – and society in general – becomes more conscious of health and fitness pursuits.

“All across the world, people are becoming more aware of the need to stay in shape and take care of their bodies,” Cedric said. “At Santiburi Beach Resort and Spa, we are in a perfect position to help our guests achieve their fitness goals in an idyllic seafront setting.”

“Whether you’re seeking to start your day with a morning yoga class, get your blood pumping at the punch bag, or work up a sweat on our tennis court, the Sports Centre is the perfect place to fine tune your body and mind. I am delighted to be able to provide all these activities, as well as offering expertly-led classes to all our guests,” he added.

Santiburi Beach Resort & Spa is a haven of health and relaxation for guests from around the world. As well as its standalone Sports Centre, the resort offers a children’s activity centre, and the luxurious Santiburi Spa. The property is set on a stunning stretch of golden sand at Mae Nam Beach and also features an extensive selection of non-motorised watersports including sailing, windsurfing and sea kayaking, all of which are provided free-of-charge.

In addition, guests are just a short drive from the stunning, championship golf course at Santiburi Country Club, which offers an incredible golfing experience with spectacular views of Mae Nam Bay and out across the Gulf of Thailand.
