Save Room for Your Suite Dessert

Anything but ordinary, designer hotel brand QT Hotels & Resorts will be making the ultimate declaration of love this Valentine’s Day with Room for Dessert – a decadent dessert offering served with a side of pillow-talk.    

QT’s signature restaurants will set the scene for spontaneity, adventure and romance, with all diners given the option to order ‘Room for Dessert’ directly from the menu between 12 – 18 February, 2018. Once ordered, guests will be presented with a bespoke sweet treat with a twist, a room key, and will automatically be checked in for the night, complete with a half bottle of Mumm NV Champagne waiting on ice.

Participating hotel and resorts include the flagships of QT Sydney and QT Melbourne, QT Canberra and QT Gold Coast.

  • QT Sydney: Designed by guest chef Jean-Paul Lourdes, Gowings Bar & Grill will be serving up the Love Bomb; a raspberry, rose and lychee Bomb Alaska complete with rose parfait, a frozen raspberry crème centre, lychee compote and finished in torched Italian meringue.

  • QT Melbourne: Guests of Pascale Bar & Grill will be treated to a boxed delight, designed by Executive Chef Andy Harmer. The White Chocolate & Raspberry Gift consists of vanilla white chocolate mousse, raspberry jam, caramel coated popping candy with a toasted feuilletine base, glazed with raspberry white chocolate glaze, and encased in an edible white chocolate box.

  • QT Canberra: This Valentines Capital Bar & Grill’s Executive Chef Michael Box has created the Blind Date; caramel and sesame mousse cake on an exquisitely rich hazelnut & date sponge, coated in decadent gold and dark chocolate ganache and served with single red rose, rose petals, pistachio and caramel truffles.

  • QT Gold Coast: Designed by Yamagen’s Executive Chef Adam Lane, the Valentines Smashed Chocolate Delight consists of a chocolate egg shell filled with miso caramel ice cream, frozen Nutella mousse, chocolate crumble, miso caramel yonuts, ume Japanese plum, rose candy floss and a black sesame waffle cone.

*Room for Dessert has limited availability and only made available for purchase by restaurant customers on the night of dining.
