Savour a slice of Bavaria at 137 Pillars Suites & Residences Oktoberfest celebrations. Say “Ein Prosit” to all things German. Listen to live music, quench your thirst with craft beers, or dig into some bratwurst or schweinshaxe, and much more.

Spread over three weekends (September 22-23September 28-30; and October 5-7), the luxury boutique hotel promises to turn them into a fun-filled celebration of food, community and craft beer as it celebrates the world’s largest folk festival.

The origins of Oktoberfest date back to 19th-century Bavaria. Crown Prince Ludwig called for a state fair in Munich to celebrate his autumn marriage to Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen in October 1810. For five days, the people were invited to eat, drink and be merry, and enjoy parades, shooting displays, and with big attraction, a horse race around a meadow on the edge of town. Everyone had such a good time that it was decided to stage the horse race and the accompanying festivities every year. So far only wars and cholera epidemics have interrupted the yearly beer celebration over the past two centuries.

The biergarten at the Level 1 Outdoor Jamjuree Garden of 137 Sukhumvit Suites & Residences will run from 5 p.m. to midnight, offering everyone the opportunity to experience Bavaria’s world-famous beer festival right here in Sukhumvit. Guests will be welcomed by service staff dressed in the authentic Bavarian attire of drindls and lederhosens. German brewery Paulaner will also serve their famous Oktoberfest Bier during these celebrations. A full-bodied amber beer style, it was developed to celebrate the original Oktoberfest and has masterful hop balance with a rich malt flavour, dark toffee notes and underlying fruitiness. A number of vendors will sell traditional German food, as well as burgers and other grilled meats.

With fantastic food, great beer, live entertainment and free parking, there are many reasons to visit 137 Pillars Suites & Residences and sing “Ein Prosit der Gemütlichkeit”.
