Begin your married life together at the wedding-award-winning InterContinental Bali Resort. Taking its name from the Balinese word for marriage, the Resort’s new ‘Wiwaha Exotic Wedding’ package is designed for weddings of up to 40 guests.

It can be customised to suit your needs and it also includes a three-night honeymoon stay in a private Club Intercontinental room with full Club benefits. Weddings and events at InterContinental Bali Resort are coordinated by a highly professional team of wedding planners who will handle every detail of your ceremony and your celebration from start to finish leaving you free to relax and enjoy the happiest day of your lives.

Choose a romantic garden or beachside venue, oriented to capture the spectacular views and glorious sunsets over Jimbaran Bay, while also showcasing the Resort’s ability to blend both Balinese and Western ideas and style with the island’s magical ambience, charm, and natural décor.

Preparations will begin one day before the wedding ceremony with a wedding rehearsal, and time will be allocated for a fun and simple pre-wedding photo session utilising your own cameras. The Bride will have exclusive use of a Bridal Room at either the Beauty Salon or one of the Spa Uluwatu Villa Retreats.

The romantic venue of your choice will be adorned with a beautiful tropical flower arrangement and a personalised welcome board complete with a fresh flower decoration. Here, ceremonial chairs will be set up for your guests, each of whom will be greeted with a welcome drink and the live bamboo music of a Balinese ‘Rindik’ mini orchestra. The English-speaking Celebrant – a minister of your chosen religion – will be ready and waiting to conduct your wedding ceremony.

Carrying a fragrant Bridal Bouquet with a Groom’s Boutonniere to match, and escorted by two flower girls and two umbrella boys in gorgeous Balinese costume, you will make your vows to the accompaniment of your favourite wedding song harmoniously performed by a keyboard player and two vocalists. Then, as you kiss and tread a bridal walkway strewn with fragrant flower petals, you will be showered with yet more petals by your guests.  Now, you can drink a Champagne toast to your future, cut your two-tier wedding cake and participate in a group photo session. A three-hour professional photography service with 250 shots is included in the price, and you will also be presented with a commemorative ceremonial certificate.

At the end of your wedding celebration, you can retreat to your private Club Intercontinental room for your three-night honeymoon stay. Here you will find more fresh flowers, and a bottle of sparkling wine served with delicious fresh strawberries and a chocolate dip.  During your stay, you can relish an exceptional array of InterContinental Club Privileges and entitlements. These include 24-hour bespoke butler service working in sync with the ‘Virtual Butler Service;’ exclusive access to the private Club Pool; and use of the dedicated lounge known as ‘Inspiration Space’ aimed at encouraging guests to explore their individual passions. Furthermore, as a Club guest, you can enjoy unlimited visits to Club InterContinental Lounge, which is an elegantly appointed and refined sanctuary of social interaction and light fine-dining refreshments, operating 24 hours.  Club InterContinental guests also have a choice of five different breakfast venues within the Resort.

Finally, celebrate your love with a romantic dinner, which can be taken anytime during your stay, in your own private Gazebo Bale under the stars. The Wiwaha Wedding package also includes a 60-minute traditional Balinese massage for the Bride and Groom, as well as your return airport transfer in a Mercedes Benz.
