“Chris joins sbe with extensive experience in the luxury hospitality industry,” stated Jorge Giannattasio, Chief Operating Officer at sbe. “We are excited for him to run Delano, which is one of the premier destinations in Miami, as well as SLS Baha Mar, one of the most expansive developments in the Caribbean.”

“sbe is a disruptive force in the lifestyle hospitality space and I am honored to be managing Delano and SLS Baha Mar,” stated Sariego. “Both properties are iconic, with Delano being a staple in the Miami landscape, and SLS Baha Mar soon to make history being the largest luxury resort project in the Caribbean. I look forward to overseeing them as sbe continues its growth.”

Most recently, Sariego spent over four years at the Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas as Senior Vice President and General Manager with direct responsibility for the Luxury Cove Resort, The Reef Luxury Residential Resort, The Dolphin Cay, The Marine Park and the Water Park. In addition, he was President of the Homeowners Association and President for the Blue Project Foundation. Set to open in the fourth quarter of 2017, SLS Baha Mar will infuse the Caribbean with SLS’s signature elements of surprise and delight, expected indulgences, and impeccable bespoke services that go beyond the status quo of luxury. Located in Nassau, The Bahamas, the resort was envisioned as a tropical sanctuary for connoisseurs of global culture and style, a place where dazzling natural scenery is paired with unparalleled service and amenities. Designed by Avenue Interior Design in collaboration with BNO, the hotel will have 299 rooms and 107 residences.
