A spooky new experience will take place as part of Macarthur’s famous Festival of Fisher’s Ghost in November – a fully immersive theatrical event which will draw audiences into a world of darkness, horror and the supernatural.
Held each year to celebrate Australia’s most famous apparition, the Festival of Fisher’s Ghost from November 4-13, 2016, encompasses a number of events including a carnival, street parade, a youth music gig and childrens’ fun day. The addition of the Dark Lake Interactive Horror Experience to this years’ line-up will add further fun and spookiness to the celebrations.
Not for the faint-hearted, the walk-through horror adventure will be staged outdoors and after dark in a secret location disclosed only to ticket holders. Small audience groups will become part of the story as they encounter frightening characters and strange situations. The event will be held on November 10, 11 and 12, 2016, at allocated times throughout the evening.
The experience will be performed by Hunted, a unique performance company known throughout Australia for taking audiences into the dark and spinning a haunting tale around them.
The horror story will centre around ‘Dark Lake’, a mysterious and fictitious location where people go missing and strange apparitions appear. Audiences will walk down the twisting pathways of Dark Lake and find out the truth for themselves.
Designed to be genuinely frightening, the experience is restricted to those aged 15 years and older. Tickets cost $20 per person. For more information, visitwww.macarthur.com.au or call (02) 4645 4921.
