Scenic, the number one luxury travel operator to Canada and Alaska, has launched its 2017 Canada, Alaska & USA program which includes the launch of seven new itineraries and one new extension.

Guests can now explore more of Canada’s West Coast with four new itineraries including: 13 Day Canadian Castles & Alaskan Cruise from Calgary to Vancouver which has been designed for guests with limited time to explore Canada; 19 Day Canada’s Wildlife & Wilderness for wildlife enthusiasts which includes stays at a number of lodges including Knight Inlet Lodge which will open the season exclusively for Scenic guests; and 17 Day Winter Wonders – operating in the height of winter this tour allows guests to enjoy a number of winter activities including dogsledding and snowshoeing plus a trip of a lifetime to the Yukon to witness the spectacular Aurora Borealis.

Two new itineraries showcase Alaska both offering small ship cruising with luxury cruise partner Seabourn on board the intimate 450 passenger Seabourn Sojourn. The 24 Day Breathtaking Alaska & Canadian Rockies includes an 11 night cruise, and the 20 Day Hidden Gems of Alaska features a slower pace 14 night cruise. Both cruises will take guests to the smaller more secluded coves and inlets the larger cruise ships are unable to access including Sitka which is rich in Russian history on the 11 night cruise, and on the 14 night cruise guests will also visit Klemtu – a town adjacent to the Great Bear Rainforest which is home to native populations of grizzly, black and Kermode bears.

Guests can now journey from coast to coast on the 41 Day Canada & Cruise Enthusiast Tour which travels from Toronto in the East to Vancouver in the West, and includes cruises through the Gulf of St. Lawrence and Alaska’s Inside Passage.

Also new for 2017, the 5 Day Hawaiian Interlude – a Wondrous Experience allowing guests to extend their stay in North America and enjoy some rest and relaxation over four nights in Honolulu at Westin’s Moana Surfrider, with included activities such as North Shore and Germaines Luau.

Aleisha Fittler, GM Journey Design, commented: “Strong pre-release sales for Canada showed that there is very much an appetite from our guests for the stunning scenery and diverse cities Canada is known for. We have made a number of enhancements to the 2017 program which we know will appeal to first time travellers and repeat guests alike including new destinations and cruise itineraries.”

A new Enrich experience for 2017 is a Squamish Lil’Wat Cultural Centre breakfast tour which showcases the history and culture of the First Nations and Scenic Freechoice Dining explores the culinary delights of Vancouver with three restaurants for guests to choose from.

Scenic is offering Earlybird offers for bookings made by 31 October – fly to Western Canada on selected journeys for $595 in April or $995 from May to September. Business class flights are also available from $5,995 per person.
