Scenic Launches First Australia Brochure For 2016/2017

Cable Beach Sunset Camel Ride, BroomeScenic has launched its first dedicated Australia brochure which features its full collection of domestic tours to Western Australia and Northern Territory, Tasmania, Norfolk Island and reintroduced for 2016, South Australia. The 2016/2017 program also features a number of new Enrich experiences and hotels.

The new 11 Day Taste of South Australia features new destinations never visited before by Scenic – two nights in Flinders Ranges, Barossa Valley and Adelaide plus three nights in magnificent Kangaroo Island. Some of the tour’s highlights include a tour of Adelaide Central Markets, 4wd trip to the impressive natural amphitheatre – Wilpena Pound in Flinders Ranges, a tasting day of all local cheeses, honey and wine on Kangaroo Island plus a guided tour of the seal colony at Seal Bay.

Changes to existing tours include the option for guests to travel on The Ghan from Alice Springs to Darwin. On the 11 Day Territory Explorer and the extended version of this tour, 23 Day Territory Discoverer & The Kimberley, guests can enjoy an overnight rail journey in the comfort of Gold Class through the stunning Australian outback including dinner in the Queen Adelaide Restaurant.

This year we wanted to expand our touring options to include even more of this vast and diverse country. South Australia has so much to offer with great food and wine, an abundance of native wildlife and beautiful scenery, we know our guests are going to love it.”

The 2016/2017 program sees the launch of a number of new Enrich experiences including visiting the Boab prison tree with a traditional land owner in Fitzroy Crossing; a unique dining experience set amidst the ‘Field of Light’ art installation which is only at Uluru for 2016; and a tour of author Colleen McCullough’s house in Norfolk Island including morning tea with one of her friends.

There are also two new hotels – Novotel Ningaloo Reef Resort and the award winning Cicada Lodge in Nitmiluk National Park.
