Scenic Tours has launched its first 2015 Small Ship Luxury Cruising program which includes a collection of seven itineraries to unique destinations on board a range of boutique luxury ships.
Partnering with French cruise operator, Compagnie du Ponant, Scenic will offer guests the chance to travel on the luxuriously appointed fleet of ships in a small group averaging only 30 Scenic guests. With only 132 staterooms and cabins, the small size of the ships offers a more intimate cruising experience and the chance to get closer to the heart of each destination compared to the much larger ocean cruisers.unnamed (19)

The itineraries visit some of the world’s most secluded ports and include three expedition cruises, for those wanting to explore off the beaten track, to the Chilean Fjords, Norwegian Fjords and Alaska’s Inside Passage, and four luxury cruises to Central America and the Panama Canal, Dalmatia and Greece, Adriatic and Aegean and the Nordic and Scottish coasts.

Each all-inclusive luxury cruise takes in the history and culture of remote towns and villages, with Zodiac excursions to see glaciers and wildlife or tenders onto deserted islands and hidden beaches. This combines with a land tour whereguests continue to enjoy the unrivalled inclusions and authentic on shore experiences synonymous with Scenic.

Scenic Tours GM Product, Aleisha Fittler said demand from guests for this type of cruising had been high and is largely due to the popularity of its private charter Antarctica cruises: “Feedback from our guests is that they love this intimate style of cruising where they travel in small groups and get up close and personal with the amazing wildlife and spectacular scenery. Our guests have been asking us for more small ship cruises so we are delighted to now offer this collection of cruise tours to seven fantastic destinations.”

Itinerary highlights include: sailing ocean to ocean through the engineering marvel known as the Panama Canal on the 23 Day Central American Discovery; cruising from Venice to Athens along the Dalmatian Coast through the Corinth Canal and Greek Isles on the 15 Day Adriatic & Mediterranean Sojourn and Zodiac excursions in the Arctic Circle to watch the polar wildlife on the 19 Day Scandinavian Discovery & Norwegian Fjords Cruise.

Scenic Tours is also offering some fantastic new Earlybird offers for bookings made by 30 September 2014, including partner fly free including taxes and solo traveller savings.

The new Scenic Tours 2015 Small Ship Luxury Cruising brochure is out now.
