Sedona Hotel Yangon Expands Offerings For Long-Term Stays

Sedona Hotel Yangon has announced it will expand its offerings for guests who book accommodations over an extended period at the elegant property overlooking Inya Lake. 


Long-stay guests will enjoy a new Residents’ Lounge designed exclusively for them.  The hotel is also increasing the number of long-stay apartments currently available to meet the demand for more spacious accommodation with added amenities.  Together with the newly launched Resident’s lounge, these new long-stay guest offerings further solidify the position of Sedona Hotel Yangon as one of the most sought after five star hotels for international visitors.

Sedona Hotel Yangon is the first international Yangon property to introduce a Residents’ Lounge enabling long-term guests to have 24-hour, exclusive access to self-serve coffee, tea and water; a full kitchen equipped with cutlery, dishes, glassware, electrical hob, refrigerator and coffee maker; and an X-box for games and entertainment.

Sedona Hotel Yangon is one of the first in the region to provide long-stay apartments within a hotel, affirming its focus on attracting long-stay guests.  The hotel is converting an additional rooms within its original Garden Wing into apartments, and will ultimately have a total of 60 long-stay apartments for the comfort of guests staying at the hotel for an extended time.


The hotel considers those who stay one month or more to be long-stay guests.  As such, they will receive an array of complimentary benefits such as in-room Wi-Fi, newspaper, utility services, fitness centre access, one non-reserved parking space, daily housekeeping, self-launderette service and full-service laundering of three (one bedroom) or six pieces (two bedroom) per day.  They will also receive a ten percent discount on hotel food, beverages and secretarial services, as well as signing privileges for food and beverage credit of up to USD 500 per month.

This expansion of guest offerings follows the recent opening of Sedona Hotel Yangon’s Inya Wing which added 431 well-appointed guest rooms and suites along with a grand lobby and high-end retail gallery connecting the new tower to the existing building.  The Inya Wing also features a new state-of-the-art fitness centre, an all-day restaurant, a new spa and an executive lounge for all guests.
