DRIVEAWAY Holidays have come up with a new version of self-drive holidays by offering visitors to the U.S. a range of motor cycle rentals, which include several models of the renowned Harley Davidson brand.
Available vehicles include a choice of five classes of vehicles ranging from classic to touring to trikes from Harley with other makers like Indian, BMW and Honda included in the 25 different types.
There’s a choice of three different rental schemes ranging from solo self-drive to a tour package which includes suggested route maps with accommodation in three star hotels such as Hilton and Holiday Inn with the top of the range being guided tours of three to 16 days with a tour guide as lead leader and a following support van. During guided tours fuel and oil is included for scheduled riding days.
Cycles can be collected from 50 locations across the United States with one-way drop-offs permitted at some major cities.
Daily rental rates start at $216 a day, reducing for longer rental periods, and include unlimited kilometres, transfers from hotels to pick-up points helmets for driver and passenger full insurance and on-road service.
A three-day guided package from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park costs around $1700 inducing accommodation, some meals and all bike costs.
