Seminyak’s Eclectic Festive Season Hotel Indigo Style

December 4, 2017 Hotel Deals No Comments Email Email

Christmas and New Year is a special time of year for family and friends to celebrate, and there’s no better place to gather together than at the Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach. Here, the chic, design-led resort meanders through 4.7 hectares of lush tropical grounds fronting onto the southern stretch of Bali’s stunning Mesari Beach.

At Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach, guests are invited to celebrate a truly ‘Seminyak’ festive season, complete with the eclectic and artistic touches that the lively, vibrant neighbourhood is famous for. Ancient traditions, both Indonesian and Western, will be thoughtfully brought together with style and creativity for a memorable Christmas and New Year’s.

Christmas Eve Dinner promises to be a wonderful occasion for all the family, with a Gingerbread House workshop held in the Pottery Café for kids – which will be transformed into Santa’s grotto complete with a visit from Santa himself – while parents retreat to the Tree Bar for bespoke Christmas BALIXOLOGY™ cocktails and canapés. Following, the resort’s Executive Chef Mads Wolff and his merry team will serve a traditional Christmas sharing feast at Makase restaurant, including roast turkey with all the trimmings, while a three-piece band plays for entertainment. Santa will also be making a special appearance during the evening.

On Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, guests are invited to special brunch at Makase and Tree Bar from 12 pm until 4 pm, with activities and entertainment for children, including a magician, bouncy castle and face painting, while a six-piece band plays for adults to enjoy.

Ring in 2018 with a New Year’s Eve dinner and party at Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach. Kick off the evening with specially crafted BALIXOLOGY™ cocktails at the Neighbourhood Gallery, followed by a 5-course dinner under the stars in the Tree Bar Garden, highlighting the best of Bali’s eclectic flavours. Courses to tempt diners will include Lobster and dumplings, with green beans and black pepper vinaigrette; and New Year traditional Balinese babi guling (suckling pig). After dinner, the stylish party will move to the Secret Garden Pool to countdown to midnight, where the dancefloor awaits and the DJ will put on a spectacular show.

Also not to be missed are the art installations forming the Christmas Tree at the resort’s Arrival Courtyard and Neighbourhood Gallery. Collaborating with local talent as part of the brand’s initiative, Artisan@Work, Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach also invites guests to enjoy and appreciate, or even take pictures with, the art installations that will be on display for a month. Made in Bali, the two installations resemble a Christmas Tree structure in a uniquely unconventional design. Guests are sure to adore its colourful details and ornaments inspired by local craftsmanship, such as Bokor (a woven rattan box for locals to put temple offerings), and swirling stacks of wood and bamboo which will be lit with LED lights.

In addition to these magical feasts, Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach is offering special room packages for its guests.
