Senior Management Appointments at Shinta Mani Hotels

Mr Sokoun Chanpreda, Managing Director of Hospitality Management and Development Asia (HMD Asia) and owner of Shinta Mani Hotels, is pleased to announce the following senior management appointments.    Both Amara and Kenan bring new vitality and global expertise to their respective roles which will ensure the brand and hotels remain key players in the industry and in Siem Reap.

Ms Amara Colenthier, Villa Manager, Shinta Mani Angkor – Bensley Collection

Amara grew up and studied hotel and restaurant management in Paris.  Her strong professional background and experience in luxury hospitality make her the perfect choice for this role.

“I am excited to join Shinta Mani Hotels and to welcome guests to our exquisite pool villas at Shinta Mani Angkor – Bensley Collection.  My goal is to offer our guests a unique, bespoke and totally memorable experience.”

Amara is of French Khmer ancestry and is thrilled to return to her Khmer roots and work for Shinta Mani Hotels.

Mr Kenan Moumin, General Manager, Shinta Mani Angkor and Shinta Mani Shack Angkor

Kenan’s strong experience in upscale and luxury resorts make him the perfect custodian and manager of these two properties.  His work includes assignments with Starwood and Marriott in Central China as well as Accor Hotels, where he was part of the renowned Accor Executive Leadership Program in Australia, before joining Shinta Mani Hotels.

“I am delighted to be a part of Shinta Mani Hotels, managing the prestigious Shinta Mani Angkor and Shinta Mani Shack Angkor, which have been ranked among the top hotels in Asia by Conde Nast Traveller (USA) and TripAdvisor on numerous occasions throughout the years” said Kenan.

“Whilst continuing to raise the bar and create unique guest experiences, my ultimate goal as General Manager is to build a business focused on sustainable tourism, which supports Cambodia’s cultural heritage and gives back to the local community through the Shinta Mani Foundation.”
