Service excellence: Guest feedback spurs record number TripAdvisor awards for Best Western hotels in Australia and New Zealand
Six of the hotels received the award for their fifth consecutive year and have been inducted into the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame.
TripAdvisor has introduced the Hall of Fame to honour travel organisations which have received the Certificate of Excellence over five consecutive years.
“It’s a huge honour to see almost 50% of the Best Western group in Australia and New Zealand receive this record number of accolades,” said Best Western Australasia’s Chief Executive, Rob Anderson.
“These awards truly represent the voice of the guest. We have been on a journey to exceed our guests’ expectations through the rollout of our Quality Assurance and Design Excellence programs and ongoing staff training,” he said.
The high percentage of hotels earning the Certificate of Excellence reflects Best Western’s commitment to providing great service and customer care.
The award-winning I Care – Reflections tool, developed with the brand’s customer experience management partner Medallia, allows hotel operators to authentically engage consumers who respond to 1.3 million guest surveys and post more than 150,000 online hotel reviews each year.
To qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, hotels must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months. The rankings are voted by travellers and customers using the global travel site.
