The Seychelles Tourism Board has formed an exciting Travel & Fashion Brand Partnership with CARL KAPP, a Sydney based luxury Fashion Designer to develop and launch a new collection inspired by Seychelles and supported by Six Senses Zil Pasyon, Felicity Island.

The CARL KAPP SS20 collection was designed in Australia and photographed in unique locations around Seychelles with an objective to create awareness of the destination, highlighting how it differs to other Indian ocean destinations.

The locations used for the photo-shoot were; Six Senses Zil Pasyon – Felicity Island, La Digue Island including- Anse Source D’Argent Beach famed for being one of the most photographed beaches on the planet. Its dazzling white sands are lapped by shallow emerald waters, backed by some of La Digue’s most beautiful granite boulders and shaded by craning coconut palms and Grand Anse, La Digue Islands longest beach. For the final location on Praslin, the legendary Vallée de Mai which is one of two UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Seychelles, and was once believed to be the original Garden of Eden was the back drop. It is home to the world’s most famous tropical forests, the hauntingly beautiful primeval forest which features some 6,000 Coco de Mer trees.

“We are delighted to collaborate with luxury brand CARL KAPP to develop a Seychelles inspired fashion collection, with the objective to highlight the destinations natural beauty and points of difference to inspire the Australian Traveller. An environmentally friendly destination with unspoiled beaches & natural reserves, the Seychelles offers something for everyone from its unique island hopping, trekking, snorkeling, golfing, fishing, sailing, diving, and zip-lining to its wide range of accommodation and wonderful spa’s. We look forward through this partnership to welcoming more Australians to our paradise islands” said Sherin Francis, CEO, Seychelles Tourism Board

“The Seychelles is a truly special destination, with the most breath-taking unspoilt beaches that boast iconic granitic boulders and inspiring dramatic cloud formations, lush rainforests filled with Coco de Mer Palms and unique nature creating the perfect backdrop for this shoot. The natural beauty of Seychelles is unparalleled to any tropical island destination I have experienced”. I am thrilled to be partnering with Seychelles Tourism Board and supported by Six Senses Zil Pasyon to create the SS20 collection, inspired by this unique destination which should be on every Australian’s travel list. Each piece in the collection, many named after Seychelles locations, are designed for easy travel, low maintenance and maximum impact, giving women the confidence to look their relaxed best whilst on holiday” said Carl Kapp

“It is not every day that you get a designer to create a collection inspired by your resort and we feel very grateful to CARL KAPP for sharing this inspiration with us. Six Senses Zil Pasyon is located on the island of Félicité which we are very fortunate to call our home. Its unusual beauty derives from the granitic scenery which blends in harmony with the tropical flora and the white sandy beaches. The design of the resort reflects the island’s nature, colors, textures and themes as it is discretely hidden in the lush vegetation while offering stunning ocean views and privacy to our guests. This diversity of natural surroundings is clearly reflected on CARL KAPP’s collection. Each creation has a unique elegance that fits  perfectly with all the natural elements and architecture of the resort. We are thankful to the Seychelles Tourism Board for partnering with us on this project and making the launch of the collection possible”.  Said Mark Leslie, General Manager, Six Senses, Zil Pasyon
