Shake things up this summer at Chachawan with cocktails with a kick

Chachawan’s PC-50Chachawan Isaan Thai and Bar is stirring things up this summer with a brand new cocktail list to pair perfectly with Chef Adam Cliff’s Isaan dishes.

The buzzy Sheung Wan eatery has become a utopia for after work dwellers looking for a place to unwind with a glass of something cold and boldly flavoured tipples have become a firm favourite.


New must-tries on the Chacahwan cocktail list include the aromatic Old Thymer (HK$ 90), made with Michter’s Bourbon, galangal, thyme and bitters and the colourful DEVIL’S SHARE (HK$ 90), a mix of Michter’s Rye, galangal, maple, orange, lemon and bitters. Customer favourites include the ChaCha Smash (HK$ 95), a refreshing summery blend of Hendrick’s Gin, cucumber, mint, coriander and ginger beer and the tongue-in-cheek spin on the classic Bloody Mary, Bloody Sex Change (HK$ 90) comprises only the best Crop organic tomato vodka, tomato juice and Thai spice mix. The typically ThaiMekhong Sour (HK$ 85) of Thailand’s spicy rum Mehkong, lemon, egg white and bitters is a great option for a cocktail with extra oomph. Other concoctions include the PC-50 (HK$ 95) Sipsmith Gin, pomegranate, cucumber and egg white and theTBC (HK$ 90) Herradura Reposado, Punt E Mes and kaffir lime.

Chachawan’s Mekong Sour

Chachawan’s moreish mocktails served with funky patterned straws are all the rage including the Longan Nahm (HK$ 50),Pomelo and Pomegranate Cooler (HK$ 50), Sour Grape and Thai Basil Fizz (HK$ 50), Pineapple and Guava Slushi(HK$ 50), Coconut and Soya Milk (HK$ 50) and the Calamansi and Salted Plum Soda (HK$ 50).

Chacha Hour drinks are from 5:30pm to 6:30pm every day with treats including buy-one-get-one on beers and house wines, special snacks and cocktails as well as the ‘Hot Deal of the Week’ cocktail for HK$75.
