Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou Invites Guests to Enjoy the Authentic Beijing Feast at Summer Palace

Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou’s Summer Palace today launched the Authentic Beijing Feast, which will run until 31 August 2014.

http://www.colestraining.com/Gao Ning and Duan Xiao Chen from the Shangri-La sister hotel in Beijing have been invited as guest chefs to present Fuzhou gastronomes authentic Beijing gourmet dishes.

Beijing cuisine is a type of cuisine with dishes that originated from Northern China, fused with the essence from Man Han Palace dishes and local Cantonese flavours. Beijing cuisine can also be called the abstract of Hua Xia gourmet culture.

Chefs Gao Ning and Duan Xiao Chen will bring to Summer Palace their signature dishes, including Poached Lamb with Bean Curd, Braised Sea Cucumber with Leek, “Zhajiang” Noodles Beijing Style, Sautéed Sliced Pork with Egg and Black Fungus, Spicy Pancake and so on. In addition, they will lead the Summer Palace chef team to present Pan-Fried Bean Curd with Egg, Spicy Chicken Beijing Style, Braised Sea Fish in Spicy Sauce, Braised Beef Shank in Soy Broth and other Beijing delicacies.

Chef Gao has been serving in the kitchen for 26 years and it has made her adept at making noodles and other Northern snacks. Chef Duan has been serving in the kitchen for 22 years. He is not only a master in Beijing cuisine, but also in Sichuan, Shandong and Hunan cuisines.
