The Batasiolo wine cellar is famous for having all its vineyards in the heart of the Langhe, a hilly area to the south and east of the river in the province of Cuneo in Piedmont, northern Italy. The land is famous above all for its great reds that produce the most celebrated wines in the region.
Already armed with an excellent main ingredient, the vineyard is also equipped with the most up-to-date machineries and the wines are still perfected by the hands of men trusted to finalise the more valuable work, such as pruning, tying up, thinning out and, finally, harvesting the grapes.
Through the dinner, guests can imbibe on Batasiolo’s striking wine selections while savouring the fragrant little black beauties served in a delightful five-course dinner. Each of the delicate courses is beautifully presented with wines from Batisiolo, such as Ravioli filled with Braised Veal Cheeks, Porcini Cream and Alba Black Truffle Foam paired with Allegrini Palazzo Della Torre 2011, a sumptuous Beef Tenderloin in Sesame Crust with Veal Tongue Ragout and Alba Black Truffle Sauce paired with Allegrini La Grola Rosso Veronese 2011 and Saffron Parfait with Chocolate Zabaione and Alba Black Truffle Ice Cream paired with Allegrini Grappa di Recioto 2011.
