Shangri-La Hotel, Nanchang opened its new signature Chinese restaurant, Zi Yu Xuan, on 30 April 2015.
The restaurant will offer diners a gourmet journey with authentic Gan and Cantonese flavours.
Zi Yu Xuan restaurant serves the most exquisite Cantonese and Gan cuisines – China’s finest for its subtlety, distinctive flavour and artful Jiangxi porcelain element presentation – prepared by an experienced chef team. It is known as the city pioneer in interactive open pig oven show kitchen concept and will showcase the excitement of live pig and barbeque cooking shows at the centre stage.
In addition, Zi Yu Xuan offers eight private dining rooms that can accommodate up to 14 guests. Some of the rooms face Gan River and feature a splendid river view.
With emphasis on the very best and freshest ingredients, Zi Yu Xuan’s signature dishes include Steamed Pork Buns, “Zi Yu Xuan” Prawn Dumplings, Crispy Roast Suckling Pig, Seafood and Rice in Superior Broth, Poached Canton “ Choy Sum” with Soy Sauce and Cantonese barbeque items.
