Simone La Gamba joins Shangri-La Hotel, Shenyang as executive chef, bringing his rich culinary and management experience to helm the kitchen team and present local diners with a refreshing dining experience.
Spanning over 14 years, the career of Italian Chef Simone has taken him around Kuala Lumpur, Italy, Switzerland, Beijing and Shenzhen. Prior to his new appointment, Chef Simone was the executive chef at many renowned international hotels and led his team to win “Best Fine Dining Restaurant and Best Hotel Restaurant”.
Chef Simone inherited his cooking talent from his grandfather, with a focus on food texture and the food’s natural flavours. His parents come from the southern and northern parts of Italy, so he can take advantage of the cooking essence of both. In his pursuit of health and original flavours, he has left his footprint in many countries, gaining him constant inspiration to make his dishes full of creativity and ingenuity.
With his appointment, Chef Simone will revitalise the culinary teams at Cafe Liao, Summer Palace, Shinsen and Lobby Lounge and present guests in Shenyang with refreshing experience with Shangri-La’s hospitality from the heart.
