Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore will take part in Earth Hour on 30 March 2019, 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with a host of activities, offers and an acoustic performance.
In observance of Earth Hour and to reduce the carbon footprint, all non-essential lighting in the hotel, gardens and restaurants will be dimmed for an hour. Guests are also encouraged to turn off or dim their room lights to support this cause.
An acoustic music performance by Jarell Tang – a piano prodigy with top honours and achievements, such as the 10 Absolut Prize (100/100), the “Best Kabalevsky Performance” Special Prize and “Exceptional Young Musician Grand Prize Virtuoso”, will take place in the hotel lobby at 8:30 p.m. in a candlelit ambience. Guests are welcome to light the candles in the hotel lobby to illuminate the Earth Hour signage in support of Earth Hour.
Waterfall Ristorante Italiano, the hotel’s Southern Italian restaurant will offer a candlelight dinner experience at the poolside. Highlights of the four-course set menu include Tagliatelle with Porcini Mushroom and Pork with Black Truffle Sauce, Grilled Sea Bass Fillet topped with Fennel Salad and more. The set menu is priced at SGD80++ per person and includes a welcome Mimosa cocktail.
