Shangri-La’s – Eros Hotel, New Delhi Appoints Parmeet Singh Nayar As The New General Manager

Shangri-La’s – Eros Hotel, New Delhi recently appointed Parmeet Singh Nayar as its new general manager. He will be responsible for the hotel’s entire operations and lead Shangri-La’s – Eros Hotel, New Delhi in continually delighting guests with the Shangri-La hospitality. http://join.travelmanagers.com.au/He will also oversee the hotel’s food and beverage refurbishment to bring a new and exciting dining experience in the heart of the city.

With a broad spectrum of hospitality experience of over two decades, Mr. Nayar has played a crucial role in operations, renovations, re-positioning and assisting in brand augmentation and expansion at many prestigious hotels.

Mr. Nayar possesses the will and zest to strive for total customer satisfaction, loyalty and exceeding guest expectations. He has exhibited the capability of delivering high levels of performance by motivating, leading and empowering a positive work force.  He has been able to consistently demonstrated his ability to enhance stakeholder value and relationships, build a strong brand, steer strategic goals and to drive financial success by gaining market share with through guest and team satisfaction, operational excellence and quality.

Prior to joining Shangri-La’s – Eros Hotel, New Delhi he was the general manager at the Hilton Worldwide and the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. He paved his way to success by working at reputable hotels such as Marriott Welcome Hotel, The Imperial Hotel, The Taj Mahal hotel and The Oberoi Hotel, New Delhi. His international stints include Global & Asia Pacific Carlson Rezidor conferences and hotels in Bahamas, Washington DC, Florida, Singapore, Phuket, Wuxi (Shanghai) and at vineyards and hotels in Italy and North America.

He holds a three-year diploma in hotel management from IHM Pusa, New Delhi, following a bachelor’s degree in business administration (BBA). He received his post graduate diploma, PGDM in marketing and finance, revenue management from Cornell University as well as a Six Sigma certification.

Mr. Nayar has also received many prestigious awards including the ‘Hilton Brand Award of Excellence – 2013; Food and Beverage Highest SALT Award – 2013;  and ‘Hotel of the Year’, Best Performing Franchised Hotel, Carlson Rezidor, Asia Pacific for three consecutive years. He was also awarded the Manager of the Year, finalist worldwide, Vertex in 2007 and more.

Mr. Nayar is known as a man with high values and a profound sense of commitment to integrity and feels passionately for social and environmental causes.
