Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa, Singapore Introduces Bobby Krishnan As Executive Chef

Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa, Singapore recently welcomed Bobby Krishnan as its executive chef. Chef Bobby brings over 20 years of extensive culinary experience gained from kitchens all over Asia and will lead the resort’s kitchen team by overseeing the management and operations of the 454-room resort’s six restaurants and bars, waterfront event space, in-room dining and banqueting.

Prior to his appointment, Chef Bobby held a similar position at another five-star hotel establishment in Singapore for over four years. He also sharpened his knives at various five-star luxury hotels in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Vietnam throughout his career. The Malaysian native specialises in local cuisine and has discovered a niche in presenting Indian, Western, Malay and Thai flavours.

“It is exciting to be at the only beachfront resort in Singapore, where we aim to enhance the resort experience with a diverse array of cuisines – from Sunday brunches by the waterfront to different themed buffet dinners daily at our all-day-dining outlet and more. I look forward to creating memorable flavours for our guests,” said Chef Bobby.
