The Kung Fu Panda Academy Interactive Zones
The Kung Fu Panda Academy is an interactive challenge that tests and trains a child’s mind and body, and teaches them powerful values to build stronger spiritual well-being. Five interactive zones with different activities will lead participants on the path to becoming a true ‘Kung Fu Master’.
Zone 1: Prepare To Be A Kung Fu Master
Training the mind before the body. Children must first build up their creativity, a key element in Kung Fu, which requires adaptability and improvisation. They begin by showing off a Kung Fu pose in front of the magnificent Kung Fu Panda mural, followed by creating a personalized headband that reflects their warrior’s spirit.
Zone 2: Kung Fu Courage Training
A strong body equals a strong mind, allowing one to face the unknown. Little Kung Fu Masters in training will learn basic Kung Fu skills from a ‘teacher’ and learn how to courageously face the unknown. They must show off what they have learned in a live test.
Zone 3: Respect – Mr. Ping’s Noodle Shop
Kung Fu requires patience and teaches one to be calm under pressure. This zone tests and develops both those skills, by asking trainees to ‘create’ dishes dreamt up by Po’s ‘father’.
Zone 4: Focus – Leaps Training
A test of balance, speed and patience. Participants train their bodies, while training their minds. They must navigate raised wooden poles ‘high above a deep pool of water’, while completing a specific challenge.
Zone 5: Diligence – The Final Test
The final challenge will test trainees’ intuition, physical ability and perseverance. The details are a closely guarded secret!
Character Meet & Greet
Upon completing all the challenges, participants will receive a Kung Fu Panda-themed goodie bag which will include a water tumbler (with a coloring sheet inside), headband, and a certificate. Of course, little Kung Fu Masters can meet and pose with Po or Tigress, and show off their new moves too!
