Sheraton Mirage Resort & Spa Gold Coast has announced the completion of an extensive $26 million refurbishment, with the resort now featuring a stylish and contemporary new-look throughout its guest spaces.

Combining luxurious design features with an exclusive beachfront location, the iconic Sheraton Mirage offers a premium, five-star resort experience that is unique to the Gold Coast.

Renovations to the iconic property include upgrades to its 295 rooms and suites, Pearls Bar, Terraces Restaurant, Oasis pool area, landscaping and hotel entry. The resort’s accommodation corridors, lobby and reception area, guest lifts and porte cochere, as well as its Link@Sheraton and meeting and event venues were also upgraded.

Boasting the Gold Coast’s largest room sizes, from 43m2, the Sheraton Mirage’s newly refurbished guest rooms are spacious and light-filled with wide opening windows or doors offering garden, lagoon or ocean views. Presenting a modern design and incorporating elements which highlight the surrounding tropical environment, the rooms feature a sophisticated and relaxed look.

The property’s newly unveiled 185m2 Royal Suite has been furnished with sophistication and elegance, complementing its exclusive beachfront location. Inspired by acclaimed international designers Ralph Lauren and Christopher Guy, the premium suite uses the highest quality furniture and blends timeless style for an exceptional finish. The suite’s tasteful furnishings enhance its ultimate waterfront setting, where guests enjoy the soothing sound of the Pacific waves from wide opening ocean front windows.

Iconic pieces from Christopher Guy’s collection include an ornate stone top entry console and high back leather upholstered dining chairs, which surround the classic dining table. The Royal Suite’s master bedroom features a Ralph Lauren Modern Hollywood Bed with a black leather base and silver studding. Luxurious additions to the suite’s unique design include a modern fireplace, rain shower, dual vanities, bidet, and an indulgent plunge bath. A second guest bedroom is also available upon request.

The food and beverage options at Sheraton Mirage Resort & Spa Gold Coast have also been revitalised, with the property’s award-winning Terraces Restaurant offering a sophisticated new dining experience. Set amongst a stunning lagoon surround, the buffet restaurant features tasteful new furniture, and polished marble and stone finishes showcase the Gold Coast’s most acclaimed seafood buffet.

Overlooking the sparkling Pacific Ocean, the resort’s new-look Pearls Bar (previously Breakers Bar) has been transformed into a sophisticated lounge. With a deep, rich colour palette and designer furnishings, it offers guests a stylish space to enjoy a High Tea by day or a cocktail by night.

The resort’s wider transformation also includes Sheraton Mirage’s tranquil lagoon area, which has become a tropical oasis for guests. The lobby and porte cochere display modern furnishings and incorporate nautical inspired sculptural artwork. Floor to ceiling glass windows captivate guests with stunning views of the ocean, which is just a few steps away from Sheraton Mirage.

Updated street frontage and water features, lavastone driveways, attractive new signage and exterior building decorative features were further additions to the refurbishments.

Set amongst 3.4 hectares of sparkling lagoons and tropical gardens, Sheraton Mirage Resort & Spa Gold Coast provides a relaxing oasis for any occasion. Following its renovations, the resort has been renewed as a sophisticated and modern world-class venue, conveniently located five minutes’ drive from Surfer’s Paradise.
