In the restaurant, a seasonal menu will be accompanied by live performances while upstairs at the lounge world-class DJs and performances are sure to please a crowd celebrating in style. Both venues will receive a festive makeover—with decorations to match the glitz and glamour of the occasion. Japanese for ‘New Year,’ Shogatsu is a truly Japanese way to bring in 2016 with all the pizzaz you have come to expect of the city’s premium Izakaya.

A special New Year’s Eve tasting menu in the restaurant will ensure that your last meal of 2015 is one of your finest. A bespoke six course tasting dinner prepared by ZUMA’s fine chefs will showcase the best of their sushi and robata kitchen. Round off the year with some of ZUMA’s favourites including nigiri sushi and selection of sashimi, Australian spicy beef tenderloin, black cod wrapped in hoba leaf. A festive flair is ensured with a dessert of walnut and ginger bread pudding with spiced figs and whisky caramel.  The menu features the best of seasonal ingredients prepared in traditional techniques with contemporary flair for HKD800.

Bar and Lounge at ZUMA

ZUMA’s lounge promises a sufficiently chic celebration with champagne, premium open bar, great music and bespoke entertainment. In ZUMA’s lounge the party begins at 10pm with a one-hour champagne reception. A premium open bar throughout the night offers mixed by ZUMA’s premier team of bartenders…

As the hottest place to party a full evening of entertainment is ensured. Live music will be provided by saxophonist Dennis B. Villanueva and Jonathan Yip on the drums. Modern geisha dancers bring a fancy yet frivolous Tokyo-vibe. The night will finish with world-class DJs: Disk0Kidz from Taiwan and J. Pennyworth from NYC/ Baltimore mixing house and disco tunes into 2016.
