Passengers on Hawaiian Airlines flights departing Australia will soon be entitled to discounts and exclusive offers at the world’s largest outdoor shopping mall – the Ala Moana Center (www.alamoanacenter.com) in Honolulu.

Ala Moana Center with more than 290 major department stores, specialty retailers and restaurants is a world famous shopping destination and a firm favourite with Australians visiting Honolulu.

Shopping Passport coverEffective from 29 October, 2013, Hawaiian Airlines passengers departing Australia will be able to obtain a “Shopping Passport” when they check-in for their international flight. The passports are exclusively available at check-in counters only and limited to one passport per passenger on the day of departure. Interline passengers will be offered a Shopping Passport at the Hawaiian Airlines departure gate.

The passport will entitle holders to discounts of up to 20 percent and a host of special offers at more than 60 shops and restaurants at Hawaii’s famous Ala Moana Center.

“Our Shopping Passport initiative is yet another benefit we can offer passengers for choosing to fly with our airline,” said Hawaiian Airlines’ Head of Sales and Marketing Australia, Andrew Denman.

“Coupled with Hawaiian Airlines’ industry leading baggage allowance of 64 kilos per passenger free, we think the passport will be a huge hit with our Australian passengers, many of whom include a visit to Ala Moana Center as a ‘must do’ before they fly home,” he said.

“With an initial 60 leading retailers known to be favourite brands for Australians, this partnership delivers a broad range of very attractive discounts and exclusive offers only available to our passengers,” he said.
