The Foodie Report and parent title The Moodie Report are delighted to reveal the shortlist for the third annual Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) Awards.

The awards take place on 2 October in Dubai as part of the Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) Conference & Awards event (1-3 October), which is this year hosted by Dubai Airports.

The judges, David King, industry veteran and Director of the David King Partnership; Bartlett Mitchell Managing Director Wendy Bartlett; and The Moodie Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie selected the shortlist from 209 entries, spanning airports on every continent, plus the best in railway station food & beverage.

The resulting list is a compelling snapshot of the best in travel-related, revenue-generating food & beverage operations worldwide.

The Moodie Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie said: “We have been deeply impressed by the volume and, more importantly, quality of nominations this year. The competition has been intense, the judging welcomingly difficult and the overall standard impressive. There’s plenty of innovation and an intriguing reflection of a number of the sector’s most notable trends.”

“The level of effort that has gone into the entries underlines what a creative and fast-moving business food & beverage in a travel environment is. The FAB Awards in Dubai promises to be a showcase for excellence, diversity and commercial acumen.”
