A new Adelaide City highlights tour and day trip to the Barossa are highlights of the Adelaide Sightseeing 2014/15 brochure which reveals the best of Adelaide and nearby regions.
ADSS_1415_cover(L)As well as showcasing Adelaide, the 20-page brochure includes half and full day trips and a few longer journeys to nearby regions such as the Barossa, Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula, Murray River and Kangaroo Island.

“If you’re planning a trip to Adelaide, this brochure is a must,” SeaLink South Australia General Manager Donna Gauci says.

“All you need to do is pick the tour or tours that most appeal to you, knowing that you’re going to see the best on offer with guides who are friendly, knowledgeable and passionate.”

From behind-the-scenes tours at Adelaide Zoo – where visitors can help zoo keepers release Giant
Pandas Wang Wang and Funi into their day enclosures and put lions to bed – to wildlife cruises along the River Murray, Adelaide Sightseeing offers a wide range of experiences, with pickup available from more than 40 city hotels.

The new Barossa Food and Wine Experience Tour includes travel in a small coach to Australia’s premium wine region. Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop and five cellar doors are featured including boutique wineries and the world-famous Wolf Blass Visitor Centre where a gourmet lunch awaits. The tour departs four days a week and costs $132 a person.

Adelaide’s cultural boulevard, North Terrace, and its museums, library, art gallery and university are
features of the new Adelaide City Highlights Tour. The tour includes the famous Adelaide Oval, historic North Adelaide, St Peter’s Cathedral and tastings at Haigh’s Chocolates Visitor Centre. The tour departs daily and costs $64 a person.

Ms Gauci said visitors often booked more than one Adelaide Sightseeing tour, taking advantage of special offers such as free tours and discounts for multiple bookings.

“This is the easiest way to discover Adelaide and nearby regions, perfect for anyone with limited time or who just wants to ensure they’ve made the most out of their break, seeing the best on offer.”
