At Far Niente, guests can order the ultimate Italian, St Regis. Bora Bora-inspired dish, the Bloody Mary starter. Perfected by St. Regis New York bartender Fernand Petiot in 1934, the Bloody Mary remains the St. Regis brand’s signature cocktail, with each hotel adding its own personal touch to the cocktail. Extending the St. Regis tradition, guests can now enjoy the St. Regis Bloody Mary in the unique Bloody Mary Starter dish or in its classic cocktail form at the St. Regis Bora Bora. Using classic elements of the Bloody Mary – vodka, tomato juice/sauce, Worcestershire sauce and tabasco sauce, the Bloody Mary Starter incorporates these ingredients with freshly made pasta. The dish uses three different types and colors of pasta, representative of the Italian flag and infused with different flavors; a basil-based green pasta and a tomato-based red pasta.
