Silver Muse is the cruise line’s brand-new ship; she launched for the first time in April 2017.  She is the largest and most luxurious vessel in Silversea’s fleet to call Australia home. The much-anticipated arrival of Silver Muse in Darwin marks just one of many Australian maiden ports of call as she makes her way towards her final destination of Sydney, and then on to New Zealand.  From Darwin, guests aboard Silver Muse are enjoying an unforgettable journey down the idyllic east coast of Australia, making maiden ports of call at Cairns, Townsville, the Whitsunday Islands and Brisbane, before arriving into Sydney for the very first time on 6 January 2019.

As Silver Muse sails towards Sydney, guests can expect to travel through idyllic untouched regions of spectacular beauty, on an itinerary punctuated by vibrant cities and tranquil days at sea.  Guests will discover an intriguing combination of lush rainforests, rugged mountains, white sandy beaches, native animals and cosmopolitan evenings.  Guests will visit many of Australia’s iconic destinations, including: the World-Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef; Magnetic island; the Whitsunday Islands; and the Mt Tamborine rainforest.  Guests will also have the opportunity to experience a full Australian barbeque and wine tasting in Brisbane; and have the option to take part in a Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb.

The 596-guest vessel offers uncompromising levels of comfort, service and quality for the world’s most discerning travellers.  On board, guests experience enhanced small-ship intimacy, spacious all suite accommodations, expansive outdoor spaces and the most comprehensive choice of dining options at sea with eight venues, including specialty choices such as Kaiseki and Indochine, plus 24-hour complimentary dining options throughout the ship.
