Destination Port Stephens partnered with Destination NSW and Qantas to host a dozen Singapore-based travel agents on a two-day familiarisation visit to Port Stephens recently.
The agents saw the attractions of Port Stephens, 2.5 hours north of Sydney, on camels, quad bikes and toboggans, with the aim of encouraging more of their customers back home to visit the region and NSW . The group also sampled local seafood and craft beer and came face to face with sharks and rays at Irukandji Shark & Ray Encounters.
Port Stephens operators who helped host the Singapore visitors included Cookabarra Restaurant, Sand Dune Adventures, Oakfield Camel Ranch, Oaks Pacific Blue, Little Beach Boat House Restaurant, Toboggan Hill Park,
Sri Malaysia Restaurant, Irukandji Shark & Ray Encounters and Murrays Brewery.
